This hiking route will take you to the stunning area around Sommet d'Antenac. The trail is a circular route with a total distance of 15.761 kilometers and an elevation gain of 852 meters, making it extremely difficult.
As you start your hike, you'll come across a wilderness hut called Cabane de Courrau d'Antenac, located 4.15 kilometers from the start. This non-guarded cabin offers a resting spot for hikers to take in the beautiful surroundings.
Continuing on the trail, at 4.61 kilometers from the start, you'll find the peak of Cap de Salière, and at 4.62 kilometers, there is a shelter named Cabane Cap de Salieres where you can take a break and enjoy the views.
Further along the route, at 7.88 kilometers from the start, you'll reach the highest point of the hike - the summit of Sommet d'Antenac. Take your time to admire the panoramic views from this peak before heading back on the trail.
Along the way back, you'll encounter several other peaks such as Cap de Laragouère, Cap de la Coume de Mourdère, Cap de la Pique, Cap de Bassias, and Cap de la Passade des Agnères, each offering unique vantage points of the surrounding landscapes.
