This challenging 10.5-kilometer circular hiking route will take you through the stunning natural beauty of the Breite Rast area. The trail offers a total elevation gain of 1027 meters and is estimated to take around 5 hours to complete.

As you begin your journey, you will come across a convenient parking area right at the start of the trail. Make sure to pack enough water and snacks for the long hike ahead. About 4.1 kilometers into the hike, you will find the Bachmair restaurant where you can take a break and recharge.

Further along the trail, at around 3.4 kilometers from the start, you'll reach the Speck & Schnapsalm restaurant, offering a chance to indulge in some local cuisine. As you continue, at about 4.98 kilometers from the start, you'll encounter the majestic peak of Breite Rast, providing breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape.

Additionally, keep an eye out for the Bauerschaftsalm restaurant at 4.2 kilometers from the start, offering another opportunity to rest and refuel. Along the way, you'll also find the Barfußpfad attraction at 2.85 kilometers from the start, adding a unique element to your hiking experience.
