This extremely difficult out-and-back hiking route will take you to the breathtaking Sengesspitz - Cima di Senges peak. The total distance of the hike is 14.387 kilometers with an elevation gain of 1405 meters, so be prepared for a challenging adventure.
The trail starts at a parking area located at the beginning of the route. Make sure to bring plenty of water and snacks as there are no facilities along the way. The first point of interest you will encounter is the Auffindungskapelle wayside shrine, located right at the start of the trail.
As you continue, you will reach the Trenser-Joch-Biwak shelter at 4.12 kilometers from the start. This is a good spot to take a rest and enjoy the surrounding natural beauty. Midway through the hike, you will pass by the Jogerjöchl saddle, offering stunning views of the landscape.
At 7.19 kilometers from the start, you will arrive at the Sengesspitz - Cima di Senges peak, where you can take in panoramic views of the area. Make sure to take some time to appreciate the beauty of the surroundings before you start your journey back.
On the way back, you can stop at the Kral-Zäundl viewpoint, located 0.56 kilometers from the start. Here, you can rest on one of the benches and enjoy the scenic views before continuing your descent.
