This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area surrounding the 'sommet de l'Oppidum de Berniquaut'. The 3.623-kilometer long trail offers moderate difficulty with an elevation gain of 252 meters.

Starting at the parking area, you will see the archaeological site of Oppidum Bernicaut about 1.33 kilometers into the hike. Further along the trail, at around 1.58 kilometers, you will pass by a cave entrance (not directly on the trail) and a picnic site closer to the beginning. As you continue, you will come across the Fontaine de Durfort water source and the ruins of Oppidum de Berniquaut at a distance.

At the summit of the Oppidum de Berniquaut, located at 1.58 kilometers, you will find yourself at the peak, offering stunning panoramic views of the surroundings. Along the way back, you can take a break at the cafe "Le Cyrano" or the monument "La Pommarède" near the start of the trail.

For sustenance, there is a restaurant named "La table de Durfort" midway through the hike where you can refuel. Additionally, if you wish to explore more historic sites, you can visit "Le Castlar" archaeological site located at 0.75 kilometers (not directly on the trail).
