This extremely difficult hiking route will take you to the stunning peak of Cuitu La Texera.

Starting at the parking area, you will embark on a 12.268-kilometer journey with an elevation gain of 323 meters. The trail begins with a gentle incline, passing by a water source at the 3.34-kilometer mark where you can refill your supplies.

As you continue, you will reach Carraceo, a picturesque spot just 0.76 kilometers from the start, although slightly off the main trail. Make sure to explore this hidden gem before pushing forward.

At the 5.94-kilometer mark, another water source awaits, providing a much-needed break before the final ascent to Cuitu La Texera. Along the way, you will pass Fuente Frieres, a drinking water stop at the 3.22-kilometer mark.

As you approach the peak, take a moment to admire the breathtaking views from the viewpoint 0.0 kilometers from the start. This vantage point offers a perfect photo opportunity and a chance to catch your breath before the final stretch.

The trail culminates at Cuitu La Texera, where you can revel in the sense of accomplishment and enjoy the panoramic views that extend as far as the eye can see. After taking in the beauty of the surroundings, you can retrace your steps back to the starting point.
