Welcome to the hiking route at Via Cividale! This 8.485 kilometers long trail offers a challenging experience with an elevation gain of 702 meters, making it a difficult trek that will take approximately 3 hours and 43 minutes to complete.
Starting at Via Cividale, you'll begin your journey by passing by a parking area conveniently located at the trailhead. As you progress, you'll encounter the Miniera attraction, an old mine that provides a glimpse into the region's mining history, situated 0.34 kilometers from the start.
Further along the trail at the 4.24-kilometer mark, you'll come across a water source, providing a perfect opportunity to refill your water bottles and stay hydrated during your hike.
Around the midway point of the trail, at 2.94 kilometers from the start, you'll find the Sella delle Cave saddle, offering a scenic spot to take a break and enjoy the surrounding natural beauty.
Continuing on, at 0.34 kilometers from the start, you'll encounter the Monumento al minatore memorial, paying tribute to the miners who once worked in the area.
As you approach the end of the trail, at the 0.49-kilometer mark, you'll find various amenities such as a drinking water station at two separate locations and the Bar One, where you can relax and grab a snack before heading back.
