This challenging 11.11-kilometer out-and-back hiking route will lead you to the majestic peak of Fleischkögel. Starting off at the trailhead, you will first encounter an information point just 0.08 kilometers from the beginning. As you continue on, you'll pass by a parking area conveniently situated right at the start of the trail.

Around 3.9 kilometers into your journey, you'll come across the prominent peak known as Kochofen, offering stunning panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. For a quick break or a hearty meal, the Gasthaus Stieber restaurant is located 0.32 kilometers into the hike.

The highlight of the trek is reaching the summit of Fleischkögel, located approximately 5.56 kilometers from the start. This natural peak provides a rewarding sense of accomplishment as well as breathtaking vistas.

With a total elevation gain of 991 meters, this hike is classified as difficult and is recommended for experienced hikers. Make sure to bring plenty of water, snacks, and check the weather forecast before embarking on this adventure.
