This hiking route in the area of Hans Wödl - Untertalstraße is an extremely difficult circular trail spanning approximately 19.92 kilometers with an elevation gain of 1497 meters. Further along the trail, at around 1.88 kilometers from the start, you will find the Preintalerhütte alpine hut, where you can take a break and enjoy some rest. As you continue, be sure to visit the Waldhornalm alpine hut, located about 6.3 kilometers from the start, offering stunning views and a chance to refuel before the next leg of your journey.

Throughout the hike, you will encounter various water features such as Riesachsee, the Mittlerer Klippensee, and the Winkelsee, providing picturesque spots to relax and take in the natural beauty surrounding you.

As you reach the midpoint of the trail, you will pass by the Gföller Alm alpine hut, located approximately 1.64 kilometers from the start, offering a cozy retreat amidst the challenging terrain.

Towards the end of the hike, you will encounter the majestic Großer Riesachfall waterfall, a perfect spot to reflect on your journey before completing the loop back to the starting point.
