This extremely difficult out-and-back hiking route will take you to the scenic area of Barrouard. The trail spans a distance of 13.135 kilometers with an elevation gain of 1564 meters, so be prepared for a challenging experience that will last approximately 6 hours and 57 minutes.

As you start your journey, you will come across various points of interest along the way. At the beginning of the trail, you will find Albergo Savoia, a cozy restaurant where you can fuel up before embarking on your adventure. You will also pass by parking areas for your convenience and drinking water sources to stay hydrated throughout the hike.

Midway through the trail, you will encounter Fontanino and Fontanino Nuovo, offering refreshing water and information points to enrich your hiking experience. Further along, you will reach the peak of Barrouard, where you can enjoy breathtaking views after a challenging ascent. Along the trail, you will also come across historic wayside shrines that add cultural significance to your journey.
