This extremely difficult hiking route will take you on an epic adventure through the stunning terrain of the area. With a total distance of 93.684 kilometers and an elevation gain of 7063.0 meters, this route is not for the faint of heart.

Starting at Refuge du Carro, you will embark on an out-and-back journey that will test your endurance and strength. Along the way, you will encounter various points of interest that will enhance your hiking experience.

At the beginning of the trail, you will come across La Baracca, a restaurant where you can refuel and grab a bite to eat. As you continue your trek, you will pass by several camp sites and water sources, such as Camping Villa and Lac des Evettes, where you can rest and hydrate.

Midway through the hike, you will reach a beautiful alpine hut called Rifugio Paolo Daviso, offering a cozy place to take a break and enjoy the surrounding scenery. Further along the trail, you will also find other accommodations like Rifugio Eugenio Ferreri and Rifugio Guido Muzio.

For sustenance, there are restaurants like La Baita and Lo Sciatore conveniently located along the trail. Additionally, there are several information points and viewpoints where you can learn more about the area and capture breathtaking views.
