This hiking route will take you through the beautiful area of Eggen-Lutersee in a challenging yet rewarding adventure. The route is an out-and-back trail with a total distance of approximately 10.733 kilometers and an elevation gain of 734 meters, making it a difficult hike that will take around 4 hours and 19 minutes to complete.

As you start your journey, you will come across a parking area at the beginning of the trail, followed by the Örtigen information point just a short distance away. Continuing on, you will reach the Bräch information point located 1.28 kilometers from the start.

Along the way, you will pass by the Hoflädeli-Beizli Aeschboden farm, which is located 0.61 kilometers from the start of the trail. Be sure to take a moment to appreciate the natural beauty surrounding you as you hike towards the water point at 0.05 kilometers and the Eggli information point at 0.99 kilometers.

Further along the trail, you will encounter the Eugenisee information point at 0.13 kilometers and the wayside shrine at 0.31 kilometers. As you approach the Ober Lutersee information point at 5.35 kilometers, you will start to make your way back, passing by benches and more information points along the route.
