This challenging hiking route will take you to the stunning Graustock peak in the beautiful area of Jochpass. The trail is 8.113 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 842 meters, so be prepared for a strenuous journey that will last approximately 4 hours.
As you start your hike, you will pass by the Hotel Engstlenalp, where you can find sustenance before embarking on your adventure. Midway through the hike, at around 3.53 kilometers, you will find the Klettersteig Jochpass-Graustock via ferrata, offering a thrilling climbing experience for the more adventurous hikers. Continuing on, at 4.06 kilometers, you will reach the Graustock peak, with its breathtaking views of the surrounding landscapes.
Along the trail, you will also encounter informative points such as Schaftal and Engstlenalp, where you can learn more about the area's history and geology. For a refreshing break, you can visit Rossboden Hütte restaurant at 0.14 kilometers from the start.
