This extremely difficult 14.481-kilometer out-and-back hiking route will take you to the stunning Belvédère du Surmontant. The trail starts at the parking area named Louis XI, where you can leave your vehicle for a fee. Before starting, make sure to bring plenty of water and check the weather forecast.
As you embark on your journey, you will come across several points of interest along the way. At 0.2 kilometers from the start, you will find a water source that is easily accessible from the trail. Further along, at 1.34 kilometers, there is another water source conveniently located on the trail.
Around the 2.92-kilometer mark, you'll encounter an artwork and a natural peak at 7.24 kilometers. Additionally, there are various parking areas available at different points along the trail for your convenience.
