This extremely difficult hiking route will take you to the stunning Aonach Mòr in the beautiful area of Glen Nevis. The trail is an out-and-back type, spanning a distance of 15.765 kilometers with an elevation gain of 1045 meters. It is recommended for experienced hikers due to its length and challenging terrain.

Starting at the parking area, you will embark on your journey towards Aonach Mòr. Along the way, you will encounter various points of interest. About 1.45 kilometers from the start, you will come across a water source where you can refill your water bottles. A bit further, at 1.49 kilometers from the start, you will reach a viewpoint offering breathtaking vistas of the surrounding landscape.

As you continue towards Aonach Mòr, you will pass by the Glen Nevis Cable Bridge, located 1.6 kilometers from the start. This is a great spot to take a break and admire the scenery. Midway through the trail, at 7.88 kilometers from the start, you will arrive at the foot of Aonach Mòr, a majestic peak worth the effort.

Throughout the hike, make sure to bring an ample water supply, as well as snacks and proper hiking gear.
