The Kapellenweg hike is a super easy trail covering a distance of 1.444 kilometers with an elevation gain of 35 meters. The route type is an out-and-back trail, perfect for a quick and enjoyable hike in the area.
Starting off at the beginning of the trail, you will come across a parking area within 0.02 kilometers. As you continue onwards, at around 0.03 kilometers from the start, there is a drinking water point available for hikers. Further along, at 0.26 kilometers, you will find Timos Räbhüsli, a shelter for a quick rest stop.
Midway through the hike, at around 0.59 kilometers, you'll pass by a memorial site. At 0.65 kilometers, there is an information point and a viewpoint for you to take in the surrounding scenery.
Towards the end of the trail, approximately at 0.72 kilometers, there are more information points and facilities available including a shelter named Bammerthüsli, a historical fort - Isteiner Klotz, and a barbecue spot.
