This challenging hiking route will take you to the Stalanzer Alm in a beautiful alpine area. The total distance of the out-and-back trail is 11.592 kilometers with an elevation gain of 722 meters, making it a difficult trek that will take approximately 4 hours and 29 minutes to complete.
Starting at the trailhead, you will pass by the Anton-Renk-Hütte at 3.8 kilometers from the start, where you can take a break and enjoy the scenic views. Further along the trail at 5.8 kilometers from the start, you will reach the Stalanzer Alm, another alpine hut where you can rest and refuel before heading back.
Along the way, you will also come across a parking area at 0.33 kilometers from the start, making it convenient for hikers to park their vehicles before starting the hike. Additionally, there is another parking area right at the beginning of the trail, so you can easily access the starting point.
As you hike, you may also encounter natural features such as rocks at 5.1 kilometers from the start, adding to the beauty of the surroundings.
