This extremely difficult 12.538-kilometer circular hiking route will take you through the stunning area of Piazzale monti Ernici - Via della Genziana. The trail starts at a parking area located right on the trail, making it easily accessible for hikers. As you make your way along the path, you'll come across a beautiful alpine hut called Rifugio Mario Calderari, nestled 6.04 kilometers from the start. This is a perfect spot to take a break and enjoy the surrounding scenery.
Further along the trail, at 5.48 kilometers from the start, you'll find the wilderness hut Rifugio C.A.I. Alatri, offering another opportunity to rest and refuel before continuing your journey.
