Starting at the trailhead, you will pass by convenient parking areas before beginning your ascent. As you make your way up, you will come across the picturesque Col du Soulor, a popular spot with limited wheelchair access. Further along the trail, you will reach the Col de Saucède, another beautiful saddle in the landscape.

One of the highlights of the hike is the Pointe de Surgatte, a peak offering panoramic views of the surrounding mountains. This breathtaking viewpoint is located approximately 3.82 kilometers from the start of the trail, making it a great spot to rest and take in the scenery.

As you head back towards the trailhead, be sure to stop by GR101 vers Lourdes, a junction leading to Maubourguet.
