This challenging circular hike to Monturull offers stunning views and varied terrain for experienced hikers. Starting at the parking area near Bassot de Claror, you will embark on a 9.8-kilometer journey with an elevation gain of 732 meters.
At the beginning of the trail, you will pass by Estany Petit de la Pera, a picturesque water feature located 1.68 kilometers from the start. As you continue, you will encounter the Caseta forestal de la Font de les Pollineres, a shelter offering a resting spot for hikers. The trail will lead you through the Coll de Munturull, a scenic saddle point 3.64 kilometers into the hike.
Midway through the route, you will reach Monturull, a peak that stands at 4.35 kilometers from the start. From here, you can enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. Be sure to take a break at the Àrea recreativa de les Pollineres, a picnic site located 0.02 kilometers from the trail.
As you make your way back, you will pass by Font de les Pollineres, a refreshing spring located 0.02 kilometers from the trail. Along the way, you will also find informational points offering insights into the area's natural and cultural heritage.
