Located in the beautiful Andorran Pyrenees, this 11.764-kilometer circular hiking route to Pessons offers breathtaking views and a challenging adventure for experienced hikers. With an elevation gain of 797 meters, this difficult hike will take approximately 4 hours and 42 minutes to complete.
Starting at the trailhead, you'll find convenient parking at the beginning of the route. As you make your way along the trail, you'll come across Estany de Coma Estremera, a picturesque water feature about 1.96 kilometers from the start. Further along the trail at 5.31 kilometers, you'll reach the peak of Ríbuls, offering panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.
Along the route, you'll also find El Piolet and Vodka Bar restaurants for a much-needed break and refuel. Make sure to stay hydrated as there are water sources at various points along the trail, including one at 0.91 kilometers and another at 0.92 kilometers from the start.
Midway through the hike, you'll encounter Montmalús peak and Collada de Montmalús saddle at 3.64 and 3.36 kilometers from the start, respectively.
