This extremely difficult 15.058-kilometer out-and-back hiking route will take you to the stunning Bony del Manyer destination.
Starting at the parking area, you will begin your challenging journey through the wilderness. Along the way, you'll come across several points of interest. Approximately 4.53 kilometers from the start, you'll find the Refugi Engorgs - Joaquim Folch i Girona wilderness hut, where you can take a break and rest if needed.
As you continue your hike, at around 5.29 kilometers from the start, you'll encounter Estany de la Portella, a beautiful water feature that offers a tranquil spot to enjoy the surrounding nature. Further ahead, at 5.82 kilometers from the start, you'll reach Estanys dels Minyons, another scenic spot to take in the beauty of the area.
Midway through the hike, at 6.17 kilometers from the start, you'll find the picturesque Estany dels Minyons, providing a perfect place to relax and refuel before tackling the rest of the trail.
As you make your way back, be sure to stop by the Portella de Calm Colomer (Engorgs) saddle at 6.49 kilometers from the start for a breathtaking view of the surroundings. Additionally, at 7.08 kilometers from the start, you can visit Bony del Manyer (nord) peak to soak in the panoramic vistas.
Throughout the hike, it's important to stay hydrated, especially considering the challenging terrain and elevation gain of 1053 meters. Be sure to bring an ample water supply and check the weather forecast before setting out on this demanding adventure.
