Located in the picturesque Pyrenees mountains, the hike to Pic d'Engaït offers stunning views and a challenging trek for experienced hikers. The 7.753-kilometer route with an elevation gain of 714 meters is rated as difficult due to its length and steep terrain.

Starting at the trailhead, hikers will pass by a parking area at the beginning of the route. About 0.98 kilometers into the hike, you'll come across the beautiful Estany de les Abelletes, a tranquil water feature perfect for a rest stop.

As you continue on, you'll find yourself at the Fals Coll dels Isards and Coll dels Isards, natural saddles offering breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding landscape at 2.23 and 2.76 kilometers respectively from the start of the trail.

Midway through the hike, at approximately 3.41 kilometers in, you'll reach the Pic Negre d'Envalira, a notable peak along the route. Further on, at 3.88 kilometers, hikers will pass by the impressive Pic d'Engaït, another peak worth exploring.

At the highest point of the trail, around 3.56 kilometers in, you'll encounter the Pic d'Envalira, offering sweeping views of the Pyrenees mountains. Finally, at 3.77 kilometers from the start, hikers will reach the Portella d'Engaït, a scenic saddle adding to the beauty of the surroundings.

Along the way, make sure to stay hydrated and pack plenty of water, as well as snacks to refuel. Given the challenging nature of the hike, it's recommended to check the weather forecast before setting out.
