This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area surrounding Sentiero Colle della Seigne Colle des Chavannes. The trail is 8.292 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 345 meters, making it a difficult hike that will challenge both your endurance and stamina.
As you start your hike, you will come across the Rifugio Elisabetta Soldini Montanaro (C.A.I.) alpine hut, located just 0.05 kilometers from the trail. This cozy accommodation offers a place to rest and rejuvenate before continuing your journey. Further along the trail, at 4.15 kilometers from the start, you will find a natural water source perfect for refilling your water bottles.
Around the midway point of the hike, at 3.48 kilometers from the start, you will reach the Col de la Seigne / Colle della Seigne saddle, offering stunning panoramic views of the surrounding area. Additionally, there is a viewpoint named Col de la Seigne just 1.047 kilometers from the trail, providing a perfect spot to take in the beauty of the landscape.
As you approach the end of the hike, you will encounter a historic wayside shrine located 0.34 kilometers from the start, adding a touch of cultural significance to your outdoor adventure. Finally, just 0.17 kilometers from the start, you will find a fountain where you can refill your water supply.
