This hiking route will take you to the beautiful area of Col du Bonhomme. The route is an out-and-back type with a total distance of 8.92 kilometers and an elevation gain of 703 meters, making it a difficult hike that is perfect for those looking for a challenge.
As you start your journey, you will come across the Chapelle de la Gittaz, a historic wayside shrine located 0.2 kilometers from the beginning of the trail. This chapel is a great place to take a moment to appreciate the history of the area.
As you continue on, you will reach the Abri du Col de Bonhomme, a shelter located at the 4.4-kilometer mark from the start. This is a good spot to rest and take in the surrounding landscapes before continuing on your hike.
Further along the trail, you will come across the Col du Bonhomme, a natural saddle located at the 4.41-kilometer mark from the start. This is a picturesque location that offers stunning views of the surrounding mountains.
