Starting at the Ermitage Saint-Jean du Puy parking area, you will first pass by the picturesque Saint-Jean du Puy viewpoint, only 0.04 kilometers from the start. As you continue on the trail, at 0.05 kilometers, you will come across the Refuge Léon Baille shelter, providing a great place to rest and refuel.
