This hiking route will take you on a 7.091-kilometer circular journey through the beautiful terrain surrounding Jouc de l'Aigle. Known for its stunning views and challenging terrain, this route offers a mix of natural beauty and cultural landmarks.
Starting off at "Les Trois Chênes" parking area, you will soon come across the "Chapelle du Saint-Pilon" which is located 1.12 kilometers from the start of the trail. This historical chapel is a great place to take a break and enjoy the surroundings.
Continuing on, you will pass by the "Chapelle des Parisiens" located 1.27 kilometers from the start. This charming chapel offers a peaceful atmosphere and a glimpse into the local culture.
Further along the trail, you will encounter the "Saint-Pilon" peak at 1.18 kilometers from the start. This peak offers panoramic views of the surrounding area and is a great spot for a photo opportunity.
Make sure to visit the "Source de Nans-les-Pins" spring at 1.02 kilometers from the start to replenish your water supply before heading towards the "Jouc de l'Aigle" peak at 3.43 kilometers from the start. This peak offers breathtaking views of the landscape below and is a highlight of the hike.
As you make your way back, you will also come across the "Col du St-Pilon" saddle at 1.74 kilometers from the start. This natural formation provides a unique vantage point of the area and is worth a visit.
