This challenging 8.4-kilometer circular hike will take you through beautiful scenery in the area surrounding "Il rifugio nel bosco". The trail has an elevation gain of 412 meters, so be prepared for a workout.

Starting at the trailhead, you'll pass by the "fontana Costara" drinking water point, located right at the beginning of the hike. As you continue on, about 0.34 kilometers from the start, you'll come across the "scout" campsite where you can take a rest if needed.

Around 1.28 kilometers into the hike, you'll see the "Faggio di San Michele" memorial, adding a touch of history to your journey. Further along the trail, at about 3.8 kilometers from the start, you'll reach "Il rifugio nel bosco", an alpine hut where you can take a break, enjoy some food, and take in the stunning surroundings.

On the way back, make sure to stop at the "camp_site" at 3.8 kilometers from the start to rest and recharge before completing the hike. There are also drinking water points along the trail to keep you hydrated.
