Starting at the parking area, you will begin your journey towards Cabane d'Escuret, a shelter located 1.3 kilometers from the start, providing a nice resting spot early on. Along the way, you will pass by Borne 267, a historic boundary stone at 2.79 kilometers from the start. Further ahead, you will encounter Pas d'Arlas, a natural saddle 0.09 kilometers from the trail.
As you continue, you will reach the peak of Arlas at 1.3 kilometers from the start, offering panoramic views of the surroundings. Be sure to visit Piedra de San Martin, an informative site located right on the trail. For water sources, Fuente Contienda Norte and Fuente Contienda Sur are available at 1.21 and 1.27 kilometers from the start, respectively.
At the turnaround point, you will arrive at Le Pourtet, a natural peak 4.45 kilometers from the start. Make sure to check out Gouffre Fertel and M31 gouffre du Pourtet, cave entrances located at the end of the trail.
