This extremely difficult out-and-back hiking route in the Añelarra area covers a distance of 12.378 kilometers with an elevation gain of 659 meters, taking approximately 4 hours and 30 minutes to complete.
As you start your hike, you'll come across the historic boundary stone Borne 271, located 5.89 kilometers from the beginning of the trail. Further along, at 1.13 kilometers into the hike, you'll encounter Lago del Contienda, a beautiful natural water feature.
Throughout the hike, you'll pass by various information points such as La Contienda Azul, La Contienda Negra - Azul - Verde, and La Contienda, providing interesting insights into the area.
The peak Añelarra, standing at 6.19 kilometers from the start, offers stunning panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. Additionally, Añelarra Occidental, located at 5.89 kilometers, provides another vantage point for breathtaking scenery.
