This extremely difficult hiking route will take you through the stunning area of Ukerdi, offering breathtaking views and challenging terrain. The total distance of the route is approximately 31.835 kilometers with an elevation gain of 1266 meters, so be prepared for a long and strenuous hike that will last around 10 hours and 32 minutes.
As you begin your adventure, you will come across the historic boundary stone Mugarrien 259. zenbakia, located 2.7 kilometers from the start of the trail. Further along the route, at 6.91 kilometers, you will find the Alpine hut Refugio de Belagua/Belaguako aterpea where you can take a rest and enjoy some accommodations.
Throughout the hike, you will also encounter various parking areas for transportation purposes, with the closest one being only 6.91 kilometers away from the start. Make sure to bring plenty of water, as some of the points of interest such as the Cromlech Eskilzarra and El Ferial are located further away from the trail at 6.86 and 3.18 kilometers respectively.
Additionally, be on the lookout for information points along the way, such as El Ferial - Ligoleta and Belaguako aterpea - Refugio de Belagua, which provide valuable insights into the area.
As you reach the midway point of the hike, you will find the peak Ukerdi, standing tall at 15.92 kilometers from the start, offering stunning panoramic views of the surroundings.
