This challenging 8.119-kilometer circular hiking route in the Steyreck area offers stunning views and a variety of points of interest along the way. Starting at the parking area in Haslersgatter, you'll first encounter an information point about the area. As you continue on the trail, you'll pass by the peak of Steyreck, located approximately midway through the hike at 3.73 kilometers from the start.

Along the trail, you'll also come across informative signs welcoming you to the Nationalpark Kalkalpen and providing details about horseback riding in the region. Be sure to take a rest at the bench located 0.01 kilometers from the start to enjoy the serene surroundings.

With an elevation gain of 461 meters, this hike is considered difficult and is recommended for experienced hikers. Remember to bring plenty of water, wear sturdy hiking shoes, and check the weather forecast before setting out.
