This challenging hiking route will take you through the stunning natural beauty of the Bärenfall area. The trail is an out-and-back type, with a total distance of 8.31 kilometers and an elevation gain of 419 meters.
As you start your hike, you'll come across a convenient parking area right at the beginning of the trail. About 0.26 kilometers in, you'll find a picturesque waterfall known as Bärenfall, which is a perfect spot to take in the beauty of nature.
Further along the trail, at 2.55 kilometers, you'll encounter another waterfall called Kesselfall. This is a great place to rest and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.
At about 4.16 kilometers into the hike, you'll find a bench where you can take a break and admire the scenery. The trail also passes by a spring named Evian, providing fresh water for hikers.
If you're looking for some sustenance, the upper Astenalm restaurant is located at 1.42 kilometers from the start, offering a place to refuel before continuing your journey.
Throughout the hike, you'll find several benches and facilities along the trail, providing opportunities to rest and relax. Be sure to bring plenty of water, as this is a challenging route with a significant elevation gain.
