This moderate hiking route will take you through a beautiful area with a total distance of 6.683 kilometers and an elevation gain of 393 meters. The estimated duration for this hike is 2 hours and 31 minutes.
Starting at the trailhead, you will come across various points of interest along the way. Around 0.45 kilometers from the start, you will find a parking area for your convenience. As you continue on, at 2.07 kilometers from the start, there is a water source where you can refill your bottle.
Further along the trail, at 2.89 kilometers from the start, you will encounter the historic Kleiner Boden battlefield and nearby is a Bunker. At 2.85 kilometers from the start, there is another historic battlefield site to explore.
As you approach the Rifugio Forcola, located 3.34 kilometers from the start, you will find the Furkelhütte Alpine Hut and Restaurant where you can take a break, grab a bite to eat, and enjoy the stunning views of the surrounding area.
On your way back, you can stop at the picnic site located 0.08 kilometers from the start for a rest or visit the Wildgehege Fragges attraction, which is right by the trailhead.
