This hiking route takes you through a picturesque area with a mix of natural and historic landmarks. The trail is a circular route with a total distance of 5.538 kilometers and an elevation gain of 252 meters, making it of moderate difficulty.

Starting off at the parking area near the trailhead, you will pass by a drinking water spot just 0.07 kilometers from the start, so be sure to fill up your water bottle before embarking on the journey. As you continue, you will come across the charming Oreste Campagna restaurant at 0.07 kilometers, a perfect spot for a meal or snack.

Further along the trail at 0.48 kilometers, you will reach the historic Castello di Legri, a castle worth exploring and learning about its rich history. Around the midway point of the hike, at 2.58 kilometers, you will encounter the majestic peak of Poggio Bantoro, offering stunning panoramic views of the surrounding area.

Towards the end of the hike, you may spot the peak of Poggio Santoro, located 2.5 kilometers from the start, although it is slightly off the trail. Be cautious if you decide to venture off the main path to reach this peak.
