Hiking : 鱷魚張口

This moderate 5.158-kilometer out-and-back hiking route takes you to the beautiful area of Luk Chau Shan. Starting at the parking area, you will first come across Ma On Shan Barbecue Site, a great spot for a break or a picnic. As you continue on, you will pass by several information points along the trail, providing you with interesting facts about the area.

Midway through the hike, you will reach Canoe Rock, a unique rock formation that is definitely worth a photo stop. Further along the trail, you will encounter the intriguing Crocodile Mouth rock formation known as 鱷魚張口. This marks a perfect turning point for your hike before heading back.

Throughout the hike, you will have the opportunity to admire the stunning views from Ma On Shan View Compass, which is situated off the trail. Make sure to bring plenty of water and snacks, as well as checking the weather forecast before heading out. Enjoy the diverse natural beauty and interesting landmarks along this scenic hiking route.
