This extremely difficult 12.466-kilometer out-and-back hiking route will take you to Puente Los Papos (ruinas) on the Senda del Cares trail. The trail offers stunning views and a challenging experience for avid hikers.

As you start your journey, you'll find parking areas nearby. Make sure to check your gear and have enough water with you before heading out. Along the trail, you'll encounter various points of interest. At the beginning of the hike, you'll pass by a parking area and a beautiful natural water source.

Midway through the trek, you'll come across La Ruta restaurant, where you can take a break and enjoy some local cuisine. As you continue, you'll find information points like PR-PNPE 13 Cueva de Santibañas and PR-PNPE-3 Senda del Cares, providing insights into the area's history and geography.

Further along the trail, you'll discover Casa Cuevas restaurant and other dining options. Remember to stay hydrated and refuel with snacks to keep your energy up. Additionally, you can visit Gregorio Pérez Demaria, el Cainejo monument for a cultural experience.

Towards the end of the hike, you'll reach Puente Los Papos (ruinas), a historical site with ruins to explore. As you make your way back, take in the breathtaking views and appreciate the challenging terrain you've conquered.
