This extremely difficult out-and-back hiking route will take you to the majestic peak of Jultayu. With a total distance of 11.02 kilometers and an elevation gain of 1717 meters, this trail is not for the faint of heart.
Starting at the trailhead, you will pass by several points of interest along the way. At the beginning of the hike, you will find parking facilities for your convenience. About 3 kilometers into the trail, you will come across drinking water access points, essential for staying hydrated on this challenging trek.
As you continue your ascent, you will encounter various restaurants where you can refuel and take a break. The trail also features informative spots such as the PR-PNPE 13 Cueva de Santibañas, providing insights into the local area.
Midway through the hike, you will reach several peak viewpoints, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding natural landscape. These peaks include Cueto Luengo, El Mazu, and Jultayu itself, each offering a unique perspective on the beauty of the region.
