This extremely difficult 13.692km out-and-back hiking route will take you to the majestic Wasenwand peak in the beautiful area. The trail starts at the parking area near the Naturfreundehaus and immediately offers a challenging ascent with a total elevation gain of 1220.0 meters.
As you make your way along the trail, you will come across several points of interest. Approximately 1.08km from the start, you will find a stunning waterfall, a perfect spot to take a short break and admire the beauty of nature. Continuing on, at around 2.42km into the hike, you will encounter a refreshing spring where you can replenish your water supply.
Around the midway point of the trail, at approximately 4.43km from the start, a picturesque viewpoint awaits, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding landscapes.
