This extremely difficult hiking route will take you through the beautiful area surrounding Wasenwand. The trail spans a distance of 13.692 kilometers and features an elevation gain of 1220 meters. It is recommended for experienced hikers due to its length and challenging terrain.

As you begin your hike, you will come across the Wasserfall, a picturesque waterfall located approximately 1.08 kilometers from the trailhead. Further along the trail, at the 2.42-kilometer mark, you will encounter the refreshing Foppmandl spring. Make sure to bring enough water for the journey, as this spring will be your last water source for a while.

At the 4.43-kilometer point, a scenic viewpoint awaits, offering a breathtaking panorama of the surrounding landscape. This is a great spot to take a break and soak in the beauty of your surroundings. As you continue on, you will reach the Wasenwand peak at the 6.85-kilometer mark, where you can enjoy stunning views from the summit.

Along the trail, you will also find benches to rest at various points, with the closest one located at the trailhead. Additionally, there are information points scattered throughout the route, providing insight into the local flora, fauna, and history of the area.
