This hiking route takes you to the beautiful Nösslachjoch (Kreuz) area, offering stunning views and a challenging hike. The total distance of the trail is approximately 6.988 kilometers with an elevation gain of 755 meters, making it a difficult hike that will take around 3 hours and 30 minutes to complete.
As you start your journey, you will come across a bench only 0.28 kilometers from the beginning of the trail, where you can take a moment to rest and enjoy the surroundings. Further along the trail at 1.31 kilometers, you will find an information board called "Infotafel Bergwerksweg" providing interesting insights into the area's history.
At 0.82 kilometers from the start, you will encounter the historic "Marterl Hl. Barbara" wayside cross, adding a cultural touch to your hike. Midway through your adventure, at 1.68 kilometers, you will pass by the entrance to a cave known as "Bergwerk", adding a sense of mystery to your experience.
At 0.84 kilometers from the start, you will find the Nösslachhütte alpine hut and restaurant, where you can refuel and relax before continuing your journey. Finally, at 3.49 kilometers, you will reach the peak of Nösslachjoch (Kreuz), offering panoramic views as a reward for your effort.
