This hiking route will take you through a beautiful area with stunning views and challenging terrain. The trail is an out-and-back type, with a total distance of 5.408 kilometers and an elevation gain of 558 meters, making it a difficult level hike.

As you start your journey, you will pass by a parking area located right at the beginning of the trail, perfect for leaving your vehicle before embarking on your hike. Along the way, you will come across informative signs providing interesting facts about the area and its surroundings.

About 1.4 kilometers into the hike, you will reach an information point, where you can learn more about the history and wildlife of the region. Continuing on, at around 2.41 kilometers, you will encounter the Leitneralm ruins, offering a glimpse into the past of the area.

Midway through the hike, approximately at 2.7 kilometers, you will find the Enzianhütte - Rifugio Genziana, a cozy alpine hut where you can take a break, enjoy a meal, and soak in the breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape.
