This extremely difficult 17.365-kilometer circular hiking route will take you through an area with a rich history and stunning natural beauty.
Starting at the trailhead, you will pass by the Fonte S. Antonino spring, where you can refill your water bottles before embarking on the challenging journey ahead. As you make your way along the trail, you will come across the ruins of Sant'Antonino, a historic site that is approximately 2.69 kilometers from the start. Take some time to explore this ancient landmark and imagine the stories of the past.
Further along the route, at around 8.28 kilometers from the start, you will reach the peak of Cima di Fondo di Femmina Morta. Here, you will be rewarded with breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding landscape, making all the hard work worth it.
Along the way, there are several restaurants and parking options available for your convenience, but remember to bring enough water and snacks as these amenities may not always be easily accessible.
