This moderate hiking route takes you to the Balcone orientale del Monte Calvi in the scenic area of San Vincenzo. The 6.87 kilometers long trail offers an elevation gain of 347 meters and takes approximately 2 hours and 27 minutes to complete.

Starting at the parking area, you will follow the trail towards Croce dei Bersaglieri di San Vincenzo, a historic memorial located 3.28 kilometers from the beginning of the hike. Along the way, you will pass by a bench with beautiful views (3.28 km mark) and reach the peak of Monte Calvi at 3.29 kilometers. This peak offers stunning panoramic views and a great spot for a picnic at the nearby picnic site (3.28 km).

Further along the trail, at the 3.03 km mark, you will come across a viewpoint overlooking the surroundings. At 3.43 kilometers, you will reach the Balcone orientale del Monte Calvi, another viewpoint offering breathtaking vistas of the area. From here, you can see the Balcone principale del Monte Calvi, located at 3.29 km, and the Balcone occidentale del Monte Calvi at 3.33 km. These viewpoints provide a perfect opportunity to take in the beauty of the surroundings.

As you continue on the trail, you will encounter the cave entrance of Abisso di San Vincenzo at 2.92 km. While not directly on the trail, it is an interesting point of interest to explore if you have the time.

It is recommended to bring plenty of water, wear sturdy hiking shoes, and check the weather forecast before embarking on this hike. The route is an out-and-back type, so you will retrace your steps on the way back to the starting point.
