Located in the Monte Barro Regional Park, this moderate 2.43 km circular hiking route offers a diverse range of points of interest to explore along the way.
Starting at the parking area at the beginning of the trail, hikers will pass by Torre 2 and Torre 3, ancient ruins dating back to a historic era, at around 0.3 km and 0.4 km from the start respectively. As you continue, you will reach the summit of Monte Barro, a natural peak standing at 1.16 km from the starting point, offering panoramic views of the surrounding area.
Further along the trail, you will come across Sella dei Trovanti, a natural saddle, and Per Sasso Della Vecchia, an informative site, both located approximately 0.79 km and 1.1 km from the start. Additionally, there are various information points, such as "Il Roccolo" and "Passato e presente di un Roccolo," scattered throughout the hike providing insights into the local history and wildlife.
For a brief rest, the "Panorama" restaurant is situated midway through the hike, offering a place to refuel and enjoy the surrounding scenery. As you near the end of the trail, you will find benches and additional informative spots to take a break and learn more about the area.
