This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area surrounding the Krötenteich pond. The trail is a circular route with a total distance of 3.4 kilometers and no elevation gain, making it an easy hike suitable for all skill levels.

Along the way, you will come across various points of interest. At the beginning of the trail, you will find convenient parking areas for easy access. As you continue on the trail, you will pass by the Autobahngaststätte Hardtwald Ost restaurant, where you can take a break and refuel. Further along the trail, you will also find benches and picnic sites where you can rest and enjoy the serene surroundings.

About midway through the hike, you will reach Nordsee and Burger King fast food restaurants, perfect for grabbing a quick bite to eat. You will also come across informational points where you can learn more about the area's history and natural features.

At the end of the hike, you will loop back to the starting point at the Krötenteich pond, where you can relax and take in the tranquil atmosphere. Remember to bring plenty of water, wear comfortable shoes, and check the weather forecast before setting out on this enjoyable and leisurely hike.
