Welcome to the Stockbrunnenweg trail in Heidelberg! This is a super easy hiking route with a total distance of 1.677 kilometers and an elevation gain of 51 meters, perfect for hikers of all levels.
Starting at the parking area located right on the trail, you will pass by the Gaulskopfbrunnen drinking water facility at the beginning of your hike, where you can fill up your water bottle before setting off. As you continue on the trail, you will come across the Leopoldsteinhütte shelter about midway through your journey. This is a great spot to take a rest and enjoy the surrounding nature.
Further along the trail, you will encounter the Leopoldstein memorial and some benches where you can sit and take in the beautiful views. Closer to the end of the hike, you will reach the Stockbrunnen spring, a refreshing spot to cool off and relax before heading back.
