This hiking route takes you through a beautiful area with stunning views and natural landmarks. The Habichtsblick trail is 8.263 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 664 meters, making it a difficult hike that will challenge even experienced hikers.

Starting at a parking area conveniently located at the trailhead, you will soon come across a picnic site just 0.09 kilometers from the start where you can take a break and enjoy a snack. As you continue along the trail, at 0.23 kilometers from the start, you will find a shelter where you can seek refuge in case of unexpected weather.

One of the highlights of this hike is the Habichtsblick viewpoint located 4.13 kilometers from the start. From this vantage point, you can enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding area, making it a great spot for some stunning photos. Close to the viewpoint, at 3.48 kilometers from the start, you will also find the Habichtquelle spring where you can refill your water bottles.

To ensure a safe and enjoyable hike, make sure to bring an adequate water supply, wear sturdy hiking boots, and check the weather forecast before setting out. This out-and-back trail will take approximately 3 hours and 34 minutes to complete, but the breathtaking views and natural beauty along the way make it well worth the effort.
