This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area of Sandjochmoos and Wechselkessel. The trail covers a distance of 12.669 kilometers with an elevation gain of 837 meters, making it an extremely difficult hike that will challenge even experienced hikers.

Along the way, you will come across several points of interest. At the beginning of the trail, you will find a parking area (0.0 kilometers from the start) where you can leave your vehicle before starting your adventure. As you continue on, about 0.02 kilometers from the start, there is an information point where you can learn more about the area.

Further along the trail, at approximately 3.02 kilometers from the start, you will find a drinking water point, perfect for refilling your water supply. At 3.33 kilometers from the start, there is a viewpoint where you can take a break and admire the stunning views.

Additionally, there are water sources at 5.47 kilometers and 5.48 kilometers from the start, although they are slightly off the main trail. It is important to bring an adequate supply of water with you on this challenging hike, as access to water may be limited.

As this is an out-and-back route, you will follow the same path back to the starting point, passing by all the previously mentioned points of interest once again.
