This extremely difficult 11.63-kilometer circular hiking route will take you through a breathtaking alpine landscape, with an elevation gain of 1219 meters. The starting point of the trail is at Laguzalpe Parkplatz, where you can park your vehicle before embarking on this challenging adventure.
As you make your way through the trail, you will pass by Laguzalpe, a cozy alpine hut located just 0.38 kilometers from the start. This is a great spot to take a break and enjoy the stunning views of the surrounding mountains. Further along the trail, at 1.86 kilometers from the start, you will come across Obere Laguzalpe, another charming alpine hut where you can rest and refuel.
Midway through the hike, at 3.46 kilometers from the start, you will find an informative point providing insights about the area. As you continue on, you will reach Rote Wand, a peak located 5.23 kilometers from the start. This is a perfect vantage point to take in the panoramic views of the landscape below.
Along the trail, there are also drinking water sources available at various points to keep you hydrated. Make sure to pack enough water and snacks for the journey, as this hike will test your endurance and stamina.
