This hiking route to Breithorn offers a challenging adventure through a picturesque area. The total distance of the trail is 9.546 kilometers with an elevation gain of 1304 meters, making it extremely difficult and suitable for experienced hikers. Starting at the designated parking area at the trailhead, hikers will begin their journey towards Breithorn. Along the way, you will come across various points of interest. About 0.09 kilometers from the start, there is a shelter available for hikers to take a break and rest. As you continue onwards, at around 2.64 kilometers from the start, you will find the Sterisalpe, a great spot to enjoy the views and relax for a bit.

Further along the trail, at approximately 2.66 kilometers from the starting point, you will find a biergarten called Sterisstüble, offering a place to grab some refreshments. Just a bit further at 2.67 kilometers, there is another restaurant to refuel before continuing your hike.

The highlight of the trail is reaching the peak of Breithorn at 4.77 kilometers from the start. Take in the breathtaking panoramic views from the summit before beginning your descent back to the starting point.
