Welcome to the hiking route to Buca della giunchiglia along Sentiero di Pacì. This challenging out-and-back trail covers a distance of 7.751 kilometers with an elevation gain of 741.0 meters, making it a difficult hike that will take approximately 3 hours and 38 minutes to complete.

Starting at the parking area, you will begin your journey along the trail. About midway through your hike, you will reach Foce di Valli, a beautiful saddle offering stunning views of the surrounding natural landscape. At this point, you will have covered approximately 3.66 kilometers.

Along the way, you will come across several drinking water stops to refill your water bottle and stay hydrated. The first drinking water spot is located just 50 meters from the trail, while the second one is 1.47 kilometers into the hike.

As you continue on the trail, you will encounter a refreshing spring located 1.51 kilometers from the start. This is a great spot to rest and replenish your energy before tackling the remaining distance.

For those looking for a more adventurous experience, there is the option to explore Buca del Tinello, a cave entrance located 1.06 kilometers from the start, although it is slightly off the trail.

At the end of your hike, you will reach the peak, where you can enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of the area. From there, you can head back the way you came, passing by the various points of interest once again.
